Leadville or Bust.......

Our trip to Leadville was filled with camping, hiking, and family fun!! The boys climbed part of their first 14er.... Mt. Massive, Darrick and I celebrated our 6th Wedding Anniversary, and we came home without any Bear or Mountain Lion attacks...... although I think that Kaden was a little disappointed that he didn't get to fend one off! Every time I told him to be careful doing something in the wilderness, he would tell me.... "don't worry... I was born to do this"!

Weekend Fun...............

We had a fun filled weekend in Kansas City. We visited the Dino Experience at Union Station, Kaleidoscope at Crown Center, and then stayed over night at the Hyatt! Kaden enjoyed swimming on the rooftop, eating outside at the Power and Lights District, and definitely the dinosaurs...."this is the coolest museum ever". Kenyon didn't really enjoy the animated dinosaurs, but he did like the Kaleidoscope activities....."Wow". Mommy and Daddy just enjoyed hanging out with their boys!!!

Easter Fun.................

This was a fun Easter. Most importantly because Kaden really understood what Easter is all about this year. We went to see the Passion Play, and he really questioned everything that happened and wanted to know if that was how it really was for Jesus. This wasn't Kenyon's first Easter, but it was his first "walking" Easter. He enjoyed hunting for "balls"... aka...eggs..... and was quite content with just finding two.... enough to fill both hands.
