Great Grandma Sallie's 70th Birthday.....

The day after Thanksgiving we headed to Mississippi for Great Grandma Sallie's (Darrick's maternal grandma) 70th Surprise Birthday party. We had a lot of fun with family that we don't get to see often. Yes, Kenyon is in a lot of the pictures... but that is only because the photographer needed free hands to take the pics! :)

Halloween Fun.......................

There is always a lot going on during Halloween season! This was Kenyon's first Halloween. He was a ducky (same as Kaden 5 years ago) and Kaden was Snake Eyes from GI JOE. This 1st picture was from Boo at the Zoo.

Kaden's kindergarten class party.

On Halloween Eve Kaden and daddy carved one of the three pumpkins. Kaden decorated the other two. Kaden named them Michael Jackson, Elvis and Daddy (after his three favorite singers). Kenyon wanted in on the action..... but was not quite qualified for the job yet!!

On Halloween we trick-or-treated with the cousins and then headed back to Lawrence to make it to Grandma Nazaree's house.

Kaden Turns 6..................

Yes, Kaden is now a big 6 year old ( well, actually not until Wednesday...... but we did already have his party)! He had fun with classmates and cousins at LGA for the third year in a row!!!!

UT Martin Homecoming................

This weekend we went to Martin, TN for Jarvis' Homecoming game. Despite the cold weather, we had a lot of fun, and were able to spend time with a lot of family. This was also the first time in 5 years that Darrick, Aaron and Jarvis were all together.

Kaden on Wheels......

Kaden has been riding his bike without training wheels for a while now, but just recently mastered the art of stopping without landing on the ground!! Here is a video of him...... and yes, that is still Freddy the Frog tagging along.

Pumpkin Patch Fun.....

Today we took Daddy to the pumpkin patch to celebrate his birthday. We also brought Freddy the Frog because Kaden is star of the week at school and bringing home Freddy is part of the star treatment!! Kaden and Kenyon (and Freddy) found two big pumpkins to bring home!

While at the pumpkin patch Kaden shot the pumpkin sling shot. Daddy paid for 6 shots, and on the very last shot, Kaden smacked the ghost target way out in the field, and won a slush (he actually paid $3 for it..... but it was worth it)!

Family Fun Day..........

We all had the day off on Friday, so we decided to head to Kansas City for some fun! We started at The College Basketball Experience. Kaden and Daddy loved this place. They got to shoot, dunk, play video games, and even broadcast on Sports Center! Kenyon and Mommy even got in on some of the action. We will definitely be back here!

After some bball fun, we went to eat and then headed back to the Sprint Center for Kaden and Kenyon's first circus! Kaden's favorite part was anything that included motorcycles.... especially the 6 motorcycles all driving in the ball cage at the same time. Kenyon loved all the lights and the noise!
